The Streamline Cannon Ball

Guitar Man (Nephew Ben) makes a triumphant return in this train song video! If you followed the early days of the blindpig blog, then you remember that Ben played great guitar in many videos, although he was often out of frame. He went off to Yale University for four years, graduated with degrees in political science and philosophy, lived and worked in Delaware, then lived and worked in Texas, but now he is back home with a beautiful wife and daughter and another daughter on the way. We had a lot of fun getting him to play this Delmore Brothers’ classic, though he hadn’t picked up a guitar in years. Chitter was handy, so we asked her to appear in the video too. We hope you like this train song, a bit more up beat than the last one! I love the backdrop of Ben’s old beater truck, although the red reflecting on my face makes me look like I’m soused. 🙂

I hope you enjoyed the second song of our November Train Series. You just never know where Chitter will pop up 🙂

  1. Great job! Just to satisfy my own curiosity, Where did he live\ work in Delaware? I grew up there in Lent County.

  2. Good Job! It’s nice to see Guitar Man again and congratulations on the new baby girl coming and last but not lease…it’s always good to see Chitter, the silversmith again! I couldn’t help seeing her head bob to the music in the cab of the truck even before she showed her lovely face!
    Thanks Paul!
