granny and chatter

Granny started feeling puny yesterday after dinner. She was feeling so bad by suppertime that she let us take her to the emergency room.

After running a few tests they admitted her to the hospital. Her blood pressure is very low and she’s having pain and other issues. Their first inclination is that the symptoms are related to the cancer, but plan to do more testing today.

We would appreciate your prayers for Granny.

Some folks didn’t get yesterday’s post. If you missed it you can find it here.

I will update you as soon as we know more about Granny. I may not be able to post until she recovers a bit, but will as soon as I can. I recorded the next reading in the quilt book earlier this week, so it will post today at 6:00 p.m.

Thank you!

Tipper

  1. It’s hard to explain, except to say that I care about what happens in Wilson Holler. My heart ached for Katie when she made the video regarding her pregnancy. Your loss of Matts mother and Granny’s illness can cause me to well up with tears. Taking joy in Austin’s and Corrie’s move and the soon to be arrival of their child along with the blossoming of Katie into a dedicated Mother who is in awe of the wonder of that sacred moment when you have a child. Yes, it is hard to explain, except to say, “May our Good God provide you all the graces needed now and in the future. God Bless you abundantly with his love and care.
