This month’s prize is extra special. It was donated by Mamabug-she handmade the large doily-and I have never seen nicer work. Actually-I’m having a hard time giving it away.
Mamabug is a fantastic photographer as well as an amazing fiber artist. Check out her blog by clicking here. Couldn’t you just look at that work of art all day-I know I could. Now for the lucky commenter. The winner for August is…. Mary from Life In A Cordwood Cabin.
Don’t forget to click on a commenter’s name and go for a visit I know you’ll be glad you did.
Tipper
That is beautiful!!
Congratulations, Mary!!
Congrats to the winner! I sure am enjoying my bottle tree photo I won a few months ago!
I enjoyed reading the tomato post. I also love tomatoes, so much I may turn into one someday, so I ask hubby to ‘Spread The Love’ and send my seed ashes across the land! 🙂
Congratulations to Mary.
Mamabug’s art is awesome.
Also, Tipper, it’s good to see such a large number of regular participants at your site.
I don’t know anything about the science and statistics of blogging and blog site efficiencies but I would bet that many, many more visit your site regularly but don’t leave comment.
Because we travel so much in the summer months, I don’t always get back in time to leave a timely comment but I do read all of your posts and the comments from your subscribers.
Always do love to stop by when I can.
Thanks for the mention.

Tipper: I love that you share your gifts.
My my…how pretty!
My little crocheted cotton potholders look awful puny compared to that gorgeous pineapple patterned doily or table runner, it is so big…
Lucky Mary, and congratulations!
Would love to have a tablecloth with that particular pattern used…so different from the traditional pineapple patterns I have seen…
We are looking forward to your heirloom tomato post. We tried 4 types this year.
A beautiful doily! And I love your first photo!

Congratulations Mary on getting that beautiful doily, Enjoy it for many years to come.
That is beautiful! Congrats to the winner.
Love crocheted dollies. Reminds me of my Grandma who was either crocheting or piecing quilt tops.Still have some of her work after all of these years. Congratulations to the lady.
Tipper,
Now go ahead and give it to Mary,
she won it. As a Toolmaker even I
can see the art work in this. And
congradulations to Mary, I checked
out her site as well as Mamabug’s.
My son-in-law can do this stuff also, and I mean real good. He was
raised by his mother and grand-
mother and they taught him well.
Still canning maders…Ken
Congrats Mary! The doily is just beautiful!
Great Job Mamabug that is beautiful and congrats to Mary you are so lucky !

congratulations to Mary! That is a beautiful piece of art.
Congrats to the August winner! The doily looks like a beautiful work of art.
this is a work of art and very beautiful. I checked out her site. my mother used to sit for hours and crochet.
Great works of art, indeed! The second one looks pretty much like our own traditional patterns of weaving and embroidery. They’re both so beautiful.
