Pap and Granny's grandkids Easter 2002

Pap and Granny’s grandkids Easter 2002

Then Mary came at early dawn
To see where Jesus lay.
His clothes were there, but He was gone.
The stone was rolled away.
The angel spake to Mary there,
“Why seek Him among the dead?
Go tell the world He is not here.
He’s risen like he said!”

He rose, He rose from Earth’s domain
Upon Golgotha’s brow.
He lives on high beyond the sky,
His tomb is empty now.”

~His Tomb Is Empty Now

Wishing each of you a blessed Easter.

  1. Beautiful grandchildren Pop, What a lovely day today. Praise God Jesus arose. Nice post Tipper sure enjoyed it.

  2. Looks like new outfits, all around. That reminds me how that, as a youngster, any new Sunday clothes that we got were most likely to come at Easter.

  3. Tipper,
Love the picture! Beautiful and handsome little princes and princesses!…The daffodils seem to be singing, “He is risen”! Spring, daffodils, new dresses and Easter Sunday just belong together.
    Happy Easter to all
    Thanks Tipper,
    PS…
I had a terrible time accessing
the Blind Pig early this morning. I am glad it is fixed…

  4. A finer looking troupe of Easter revelers has never assembled. Have there been others engendered in the ensuing dozen years? The song was sung by The Cathedral’s and The Singing Echoes. If there were others I haven’t heard them. Do Paul and Pap sing it?

  5. Tipper,
    HAPPY EASTER TO EVERYBODY!
Those are some nice lookin’ youngins.
And the above verses are bold. In our
world today, it’s hard to get folks
to even speak the name of Jesus, let
    alone follow His teachings.

  6. May the Easter gatherings and prayers bring peace and love to all who celebrate the resurrection of the Lord!
