I love “The falling-off is more than the come-to”! That’s an interesting one!

I love “ the falling off is more than the come to”! Struck me as funny but so true. It’s perfectly clear as to the meaning.

Hi Tipper, I came across one of your you tube videos and heard you mention Gazzie. I was dumbfounded because my grandmother’s sister’s name was Gazzie. My grandmother was Pearl…so low and behold I realized we’re related.

I love all the sayings in Overheard but I like that picture of your daughter more. It cracks me up for some reason. I get a kick out of it.

My uncle bought a pig. 2 months later the pig was smaller than when he got it. I overheard him saying to a neighbor
“The off-falling is more than the come-to”.

Hmmm there’s a thought. That’s one way to say ‘one of a kind’ or ‘unique’. Sure do like our ‘homespun’ ways of saying things. Makes me feel at home.

That made me think of homemade ice cream which I haven’t had in many years.

Now there is a different take in the word ‘homespun’ AW. But it fits. Stay dry.
