Our book signing at Little Light Christian Books and Gifts in Granite Falls, NC was a huge success. There were folks who didn’t get to come because of the weather, but others were able to make it.
Steven and Traci who own the store couldn’t be nicer. We really enjoyed seeing them again.
A few weeks ago I accidentally called Steven Scott in one our lives.
I headed for the restroom as soon as we got there Saturday morning. As I was walking to the table they had set up for us Matt called me over to where they were standing and said Steven wanted to show me something.
I sort of stood there waiting for him to say something. They were all grinning at me and finally I looked down and saw Steven had a name tag that said Scott on his shirt 🙂 We all got a big laugh out of that!
Matt and I felt so blessed by the people who came. They shared stories with us, brought us gifts, and just blessed us by their kindness.
The rain finally quit for us on the way home about the time we stared through the Nantahala Gorge. I told Matt I thought the leaves had changed and were more colorful than on our trip through that morning. That made him laugh 🙂
I believe it was just that I could actually see them without all the rain, but the yellows, reds, and oranges really are brighter in our yard today after the weekend of rain.
Steven and Traci have already invited us to come back sometime next spring. I’ll let you know once a firm date is in place.
