What a great year.
I have really enjoyed all of your posts
and especially the memories from times past.
Things seemed so much easier back then but I don’t want to go back without most of today’s technologies.
I would miss my washer, dryer and dishwasher.
Sometimes we forget where we came from and your posts are a good reminder.
Keep up the good work.
Looking forward to another great year with lots of new adventures along with preserving our past.
My dear Lady Tipper:
From the Argentina, southern tip of our common home,America, on this Christmas Day, I want you all, Pap and Mrs., Paul, Deer Hunter, Chatter, Chitter, and you, receive my most fervent desire for happiness, and peace reign in our troubled world. I want to extend my wish all your readers and countrymen of the Appalachians, this “gaucho banjo player,” if God permits me when the weather turns nice for those sides expect to sit with you to make Bluegrass in 2015. A huge and warm greetings to all, José Luis.
My first Christmas season living here in the Murphy/Brasstown area and it’s been spectacular. It is so nice being near my kid. I count them all my kids, Tipper, the Deer Hunter, Chitter and Chatter oh yes, and Ruby Sue!
I am richly blessed and equally grateful!
Merry Christmas to whole extended Blind Pig Gang!
Tipper and Family: Our Christmas Eve Service at our son’s church last evening was so meaningful. We sang the same songs I had sung as a child, at our church in Hayesville. But with the presence of VERY TALL grandsons sitting with us, I knew time had passed.
I hope your NEW YEAR is the best ever!
Eva Nell
Tipper,
To all, remember that today will be one of your future ‘good ole days’!
Wishing all a “Merry Christmas” from over the river and thru the woods in East Tennessee!
Your pictures today are just wonderful! I do believe the family gets more beautiful and handsome as the years roll along!
Did you get a ‘skiff of snow’?
It turned a wee bit chilly here!
“Have the best day ever!”
Thanks Tipper,
PS…Gotta go and turn my bathroom scales back (10 lbs.) as I can make room for all those ‘Christmas day’ sugar plum goodies!
Merry Christmas to all of the Blind Pig Gang and all of the Acorns out there (I count myself among them)! I hope that all of you are safe and healthy and with the ones you love.
