  2. As I sit here contemplating all the missives sent in, I can’t help but wonder what life would have been like back in the pre-computer-tv-radio days. Would we have survived the Virus. Would the human race survived Aids, swine-flu etc. I think the Americans are a reseliant race and would over come as they have done in the past and as we will do this time and be the stronger for it. God Bless America and prayers for our leaders. Happy Easter to all and prayers that the next one will be better.

  3. Hoping every has had a wonderful resurrection day! It is very windy here in southeast Kansas.

  4. SO beautiful! We love both of these dear songs, and Paul, you sang them so perfectly. Thank you so much for doing this. The songs were very moving and such a blessing on this Easter day that is so different from any we have ever known. One thing remains the same—Jesus loves us and always will. And, praise the Lord, He came out of that grave and is alive interceding for us by His Father’s side. God bless all of you, dear friends!

  5. Thank you Paul. Absolutely beautiful – song choice, pickin’, and most of all your gifted voice. More solos please! Thank you and blessed Easter to the whole Blind Pig crew. This year especially drives home the need to recognize and appreciate the daily little tender mercies.

  6. I wish all of you a Blessed Easter, and thank you for the music. It will just be my husband, myself, and our youngest daughter for dinner. We are trying to keep our holiday traditions going. Our oldest lives in the Bronx, NY, and is cooking her own dinner.

  7. Thank you Paul for lovely singing and playing – I wasn’t familiar with either of those.

Happy Easter to all the Blind Pig and Acorn Church, assembled from who knows where all.

The storm is loud and raging,
    Its crash and roar overwhelm.
    The mountains in the distance
    Are gloomy, bare and dim.

    Jesus Christ was punished,
    For my failure sacrificed.
Ugly sin He bore on Calvary
Where He suffered, bled and died.

    They placed the pierced body
In a tomb beneath the ground
    Unfathomable desecration
Of I AM – both God and man.

‘Twas a babe laid in manger
‘Twas a man who bore the cross
‘Twas the Lord who left the grave
    Heaven’s gain and Hell’s loss.

    Of an early mountain morning,
A Spring beauty bares its soul
    And Bloodroot blossoms glory
    From tombs beneath the soil.

    The cardinal sweetly hymning
Pretty, Pretty – Treat! Treat! Treat!
    Springs a-rising in the hollow,
Cleansing flows run pure and sweet.

    Let us join their celebration!
Be filled with joy amidst the tears
Praise the only One worth praising
    And hold one another dear.

  8. He has Risen!!!! Praise God, and we will see our loved ones again. I was able to watch our Worship Service this morning on my computer. During this time, when we Christians are sheltering in our homes we know that WE are the church and we serve a Risen Savior. May God keep you all well and “keep praying for all those out there on the front lines.” Thanks Paul for the beautiful songs.

  9. Thanks so much. No church at our place and we have no web page, video or anything like that. And we are sorta under a severe weather forecast. Still, we are blessed.

The tomb is empty. And by and by all of them will be. I expect to meet many of you then and hope to meet you all.

  10. Happy Easter to all! Stay home and stay healthy. We can have the egg hunt and ham dinner with our family after the virus passes.

    1. Happy Easter to all!! Odd not to have our Easter Sunrise Service today. It always set the mood for the rest of the day. Today there is no preparing Easter Dinner, no grandchildren underfoot wanting to help, no boiled eggs to dye, no eggs to be stuffed with candy. Just still and quite around here this morning. My husband reminded me, just because we can’t gather together physically, spiritually we are all still one in Christ Jesus. Therefore, we can still have fellowship with each other. Blessings to all.

  11. Happy EASTER to all and Happy Passover as well! Jesus still saves and He still knocks. I’m glad I opened the door and let him in! I have peace and joy incomprehensible in words, but it’s in my heart! It’s the greatest day of the year!!!!

  12. Songs were nicely done, this is the first celebration of Easter for many in such an unusual way not only a killing virus but also the first Easter I can remember it being this Warm and a threat for Tornados, ever since I can remember it’s always been cool on Easter, in 2016 there were over 600,000 babies killed thru abortion https://www.cdc.gov/reproductivehealth/data_stats/abortion.htm he may be disturbed with us allowing these politicians to remain in office and it might be time for a wake-up call, been some very disturbing laws past in states this past year concerning the unborn and even after birth. I think about the little song we learned in Church a lot, Jesue loves the little Children, all the Children of the World, and he does when others don’t. But even through all this. Thank the Lord, Jesus’s message remains the same. May God bless you on this Day of our Lords Resurrection and keep you safe.

  13. Thank God for the gift of Salvation through the Death Burial & Resurrection of Jesus Christ, God’s Son & our Savior. ❤️

  14. Tipper,
I wished a thousand times that Pap was still here, but like my Parents and brothers, we’ll see them again. They have gone to live with Jesus.

I remember sitting in a room, waiting to see who was going to Preach John’s Funeral, my third older Brother. He was Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Savannah, Ga., and was the first one of my brothers to go. He was 52 or 53. I didn’t know a Soul there, but you could tell they all Loved him. Even his wife is gone too, now to Cancer. They had two Adopted sons and they live in Fla. They were in bed one night when John had a Massive Heart Attack, and although Roberta was the Head Nurse at a Hospital, she couldn’t revive him.

I hope everyone is having a nice Easter. This Corona 19 Virus will pass too. …Ken
