Like many of you, I’ll spend today eating good food and thinking of all the things I have to be thankful for.
Blind Pig Readers are at the top of my thankful list. I am truly grateful for each of you who stop by for a daily dose of Appalachia.

A big “shout out” from Wisconsin. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Wild turkey on the menu along with local Wisconsin cranberries and all the family favorites. Have a good one and enjoy the Packer game.

Yesterday evening, I was so hungry that I just had to sample my Thanksgiving Dressing and Giblet Gravy. And we’ll be having our dinner this year at a cabin on Silver Mine. My oldest girl and her family are staying there for a Thanksgiving Treat, so I’m joining ’em.

We are far away from our north Georgia home. We are in Argyle Texas. We miss our mountains but thankful to be with family and thankful I can take the Blind Pig with me!
