  2. You’re bringing back memories of my girls again, Tipper! Lovely nails-the best part is always the laughter & fun while they’re doing them-

  3. Looks great! I’ve never had a design on my nails, but I did paint my toenails blue when I was 37 weeks preggo with the twins – in hopes of enticing them out! Didn’t work for another week and 4 days though…

  4. The girls did a great job painting their nails! I would first have to remove the garden dirt and stain! But this just might cover up what I have been doing!!!! :0)

  5. NEver know what the young ladies will show up with at church. They have had them done professionally and they do them themselves. I think what they do is as pretty as the pros.

  6. Their talents never end!!!
Just glad they have not gotten into piercings and primary color hair. lol.

  7. Tipper,
    Pretty nails with a Springtime
touch. I remember watching my girls grow up and how they cared
so much about the appearance of
their nails. Ole dad was on the
    receiving end of nail experiments
more than once, so I learned what
polish remover was all about. Ken

  8. I guess it’s indicative of how far removed I am from the world of teenage girls, but I thought you were going to talk about horseshoe nails, and blacksmith-made spikes, and such! Oh well, they are pretty!!

  9. A great job of painting them. That takes a very steady hand. Have seen some very interesting ones on young and old.

  10. I work in a room full of “peacocks”. Designer nails are all the rage, along with hair in primary colors and face piercings. I’m so bland.

  11. Tipper,
Don’t know anything about this subject but, just had to make a comment.
A few years ago I noticed some of the young girls where I worked had these intricate designs painted on their nails. These designs were so creative and they actually looked like minature paintings! I accused the girls of having a stencil but, they said no that they did it freehand. Some of the detail amazed me. When I asked one of the girls how in the world they did that, she just gave me this astonished look and said, “I would explain it to you but, you wouldn’t understand it.”
One girl (I swear) had what looked to be Van Gogh minature paintings on her nails.

  12. How fun! I’ve never been one to polish my nails — I guess I’ve always been too much of a tomboy (even at 51!) — but I think it’s great for those that enjoy it. 🙂

  13. Wow! These nail designs are gorgeous. Not long ago, I used to have my nails painted and decorated with fancy designs such as clowns for Carnival, pink hearts for Valentine’s Day, Christmas trees and Santas for Christmas or bunnies and…colourful easter eggs for Easter. But now I just like them red

  14. Tipper,
The girls around here change their nails all the time..I don’t think I have ever seen the same color nails on my daughter-in-law or my granddaughters…They sparkle, shine and glitter, but sometimes they will be dark, bright or glow…ha
I wonder which girl those nails belong to? Looks like they do a great job painting them..Are they painting to match the May Day ribbon?
    Thanks Tipper,
