Hi Tipper,
I U is said many times a day in our home. A few years ago I showed my Grandson a little movie of his sister and I, she was 18 to 20 months old, dress in my mother’s dress from 1912. we were having a tea party and she said I U which meant I love U. She died at 3 1/2. We have said I U to each other ever since watching the movie in honor of Arayana.
Aloha Jean
I enjoy reading what U post every day. It makes me smile, cry, and remember others. Thanks to U!!!
Tipper,

I think I got it!
I love U a bushel and a peck!
I love you a bushel and a peck.
A bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.
A hug around the neck and a
barrel and a heap,
A barrel and a heap and I’m talking in my sleep about you, about you!
I love you a bushel and a peck,
you betcha’ pretty neck I do!
Thanks Tipper and girls,
I know you had something to do with this one!
PS…I don’t think the other one posted as it messed up..errr, I messed up!
I think I have the Halloween leftovers!
Tipper,
As just one of your many readers
of the Blind Pig and the Acorn, I
want you to know how much I enjoy
looking into my e-mails every
morning to see what you’re writing
about. Thanks for your efforts and
friendship over the years…Ken
P.S. – I have enjoyed catching up on your Halloween posts – -as usual, a wealth of information and interesting and entertaining tidbits.
Wonder if that wasn’t “U & I” – – order could be important here. Seems I first heard that on a Valentine.
Yes, we (I and U) is the most important thing in the world!
I used to qualify what was heard; U used to qualify the information. Of course, using those letters while texting saves some space and time, but I don’t think using U in a formal correspondence or answering a test question would be a good idea!
This reminds me of a saying that one of the wisest men I have ever known, my father-in-law used to say. He said the biggest problems in human relations can be summed up in two letters from the alphabet. The big I and the little u.
I can very well agree with U! If U do a wonderful blog then I start my day on a positive note. Now I must rush away to swim and U should get out and rack leaves!
Funny? Oops! Sorry, but I thought U would like this note.
Eva Nell
I agree, but shouldn’t we put u before I.
