Merry Christmas to everyone. Hope everyone is safe and can be with their families in some way. I know some of the ones that make comments on the blog have lost some of their loved ones this year, we have too, I ask that all of us be mindful of them and pray for them. The Holidays can be real hard.

I feel so blessed this Christmas to have found your Blind Pig and the Acorn site in my search for information on the Appalachian culture. Your entire family deserve honorary degrees in Sociology, along with multiple Achievement Awards. Your willingness to share your knowledge and skills makes me know that our shared Appalachian roots knew the true meaning of Christmas.Thank you all from the bottom of my heart and…Christmas Gift! We said it too!

    Christmas gift!

I went to youtube and did a search for the Wilson Brothers. Wow, that’s great bluegrass music! Those guys were professional singers. I have a couple of CD’s of the Louvins that I listen to often.
