  7. Tipper, my husband loved Matt’s new hatchet, he had it googled and pulled up just minutes after you named it, in your video. Happy 2024 to you and Matt, those grandbabies are gonna make it your best year EVER, I promise you! (you’ll finally know how much Granny Gazie adored Tipper!) 9. Happy New Year to all. Tipper, I’ve tried to view the video and every time I click on it a blank page comes up and says it has been removed and it says go to home. I was afraid to click on home because I didn’t know where utube was diverting me to. Is that safe or not.

  10. New Years are always something we all tend to look forward to. But lest we forget, to have only ‘best’ days without trials, can we really appreciate those good ones?
I know that after a long blast of cold days, there’s nothing I love more than a gentle southern breeze and warm sun on my face to announce the end of winter & welcome the promise of spring. The Scriptures tells us to give thanks in all things! I had been struggling with a cold since Thursday. Awaking this morning, the cold has dissolved! I am grateful. They seem to visit every 4 or 5 years just to remind me that normally I am blessed with health.:)

  11. Happy New Year Tipper, to you and your family! Thank you for all you share on this blog and you YouTube channel!

  12. Happy New Year to ALL 🙂
    New Year’s Poem
    BY MARGARET AVISON
The Christmas twigs crispen and needles rattle
    Along the window-ledge.
    A solitary pearl
Shed from the necklace spilled at last week’s party
Lies in the suety, snow-luminous plainness
Of morning, on the window-ledge beside them.
And all the furniture that circled stately
And hospitable when these rooms were brimmed
    With perfumes, furs, and black-and-silver
    Crisscross of seasonal conversation, lapses
    Into its previous largeness.
    I remember
Anne’s rose-sweet gravity, and the stiff grave
    Where cold so little can contain;
I mark the queer delightful skull and crossbones
Starlings and sparrows left, taking the crust,
And the long loop of winter wind
Smoothing its arc from dark Arcturus down
To the bricked corner of the drifted courtyard,
    And the still window-ledge.
    Gentle and just pleasure
It is, being human, to have won from space
    This unchill, habitable interior
    Which mirrors quietly the light
Of the snow, and the new year.

The Lord bless and keep each one of you and yours throughout this new year! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

  40. Happy New Year to everyone. I haven’t watched the video but heard a preacher say yesterday(beside our salvation) the most precious gift we can get is the time spent with our families. Nothing on earth, money, career, house, car or whatever it might be more important. I agree with him and tried to tell some of my younger family members back at Christmas the time we spend when we are together is the best gift I can get. Now at my age, I can think of nothing else I need or want more than time to spend with my family and friends. I spent several hours yesterday afternoon talking with two friends, money can not but the enjoyment I got from doing this. One of these friends does not call it talking, he calls it “jawing” with one another. My New Year’s resolution is not to make any, this way I won’t have to worry about breaking any of them!

Tipper’s family will be getting at least two precious gifts this year, Grandchildren!

    1. Truer words were never spoken, Randy!

I’m the ninth of nine siblings. Six of them have passed, 4 within the last 2-1/2 years, as have my parents who were born in the 1890s.

I miss them badly, but I thank Almighty God that he gave me the gift of my family.

      1. In the last 12 years around 15 family members have died. Most of them were in my wife’s family. I love her family members just as much as my own blood kin family. I ate dinner today with her sisters, nieces and nephews. I tried to put into words and tell them what it meant and how important it was for us to spend time together with one another. I have been spending time with her sisters for 50 plus years and there has never been a word spoken between us in madness.
