Not only was she one of the cutest flower girls I’ve ever seen, she was also determined to help. I can remember the day she was born, but what really makes me feel old is I can remember the day her mother was born too.

Appalachia Through My Eyes – A series of photographs from my life in Southern Appalachia.
I know I’m late, but Happy Birthday Pap! Many thanks to you and your girls for helping to make this time in our life so wonderful. The friendship between your family and mine is a true treasure.
She’s so cute!
I know what you mean about feeling old. **sigh**
Happy belated birthday to Pap!!!
Tipper–I’ll join brother Don in extending belated but nonetheless heartfelt birthday wishes to Pap (feels strange to call someone “Pap” who is only a tad older than me, but you’ve got me in the habit). Savor every moment with him, and be thankful you live next door.
We attended a family reunion yesterday, and much of it was devoted to Don and me sharing fond memories of our father.

Happy belated birthday PAP! Wishing you only good things and many, many more. Thanks for sharing your gift of music with us!
A very Happy Birthday to Pap – and many happy returns of the day! That is really a sweet picture, and I sure can relate to feeling old, just wait till you are attending that young flower girl’s wedding! It is such a blessing to see the generations carried on.
Happy late birthday Pap. As for you remembering when the littlest flower girl and her momma were both born… you are just getting warmed up. When I was at my niece’s a couple of weeks ago it dawned on me that I had not only changed her diapers, I changed her children’s diapers and her grandchildren’s diapers. I’m not changing any more diapers. It makes you get old…
Also I posted a farm report today.

Happy Birthday to you, Pap! Hope you have many more!
The comment Debby made about her aunt was funny! As for flower girls, well they can sure take the prize for being so sweet.
Happy Birthday to Pap
Tipper,
Happy belated birthday to Pap. Every day I play several of you all’s videos and that brings a
blessing to me. Love the harmony.
That’s a cute little flower girl
too. Being a ‘daddy’s girl’, I
know you’re so proud of him…Ken
Tipper, you tell Pap happy birthday for me and you and Granny and the rest take good care of him and spoil him good.
Happy Birthday Pap and what a cute flower girl. My little 2 1/2 year old granddaughter was flower girl for my oldest granddaughters wedding last Oct. and she was just the cutest. Everyone just fell in love with her.
How cute she is! Tell Pap Happy Birthday from me!
Happy Birthday to Pap! What a lovely day!
Happy birthday to your Pap Tipper. Also, if you get a chance, kiss that little flower girl for me.

Happy Birthday to Tipper’s Pap! As for wedding traditions.. this is not old but my dear Aunt Ann, always said this to everyone that got married. She would walk up to the couple and smile sweetly, then say in all seriousness.. * I hope you two will be as happy as Frank and I THOUGHT we would be.* She said it in a straight face every time. hehe.. makes me laugh when I remember the peoples faces that she told it to. They didn’t know if she was funning or not! As for her and Uncle Frank.. they have been married for 46 years now. : )
Happy Birthday to Pap! And best wishes to the bride & groom.
Tipper,
You’re only as old as you feel…so feel young…and from your busy schedule I think you are a spry and young woman with lots of years ahead before really feeling older…
PS….Happy belated Birthday Pap
Thanks Tipper
Happy Birthday to Pap and now i feel old because my husband is 74. OH NO how did that happen. adorable flower girl. i took a couple of days off, missed you
Belated Happy Birthday to Pap. It’s good to be in Appalachia anytime, especially with folks like Pap around. Of course, there really aren’t any others like Pap – he’s a one-of-a-kind. You are obviously proud (and thankful), and rightly so.
