  1. Sure wish I could be there. After living in Marietta for 23 years and spending lots of time in Blairsville, it would feel like a homecomin’. Jim’s group is going to be playing at a 4th of July function in a small town here in Michigan (the regular group that jams alternating Sundays.)Actually, they’re the intermission, but it’s nice to be asked.

  2. Glad the music is back! This is my crazy season at work-hopefully we’ll have an evening for a road trip-

  6. Tipper,
Nice picture of the Blind Pig Gang
with Chatter and her guitar. Those
girls look so ‘grown up’ now, after years of watching them grow.
Hope I can make your show, I just
love all the harmony. Paul and Pap
always make folks feel like they
    are there with family…Ken

  7. Tipper,
You know I’d be fixin’ to go see you. Except you are clear across the country from me. (your Appalachian grammer lessons in use!)

  8. well, dirty words and ugly names! We will be in Cartersville the NEXT weekend — I missed out again. Have a great show.

  9. Tipper, knowing you all will be in Blairsville, just 8 miles from my front door, just about makes me sick!!!
My condition precludes me going out, even to the courthouse.
Will there be a recording of your show?
Anyway, I know the hometown folks will be entertained royally.
    Wish I could be there.

  10. This would be great!! This is my type of music mixed in with southern gospel. Have a great time and I hope lots of other people have a chance to hear the gang.

  11. Tipper,
I would love to travel to Blairsville, Ga to hear and see you all pick and grin…dance?
    Good picture of all….
Oh, by the way are you going to be gone during corn picking time?
I mean would anyone be watching the garden? Uhhh, not that I would think of gathering it but you never know what varmits might mosy thru the garden? Ha
Did your corn stand back up after the storm?
We had a “toad strangler” here night before last and a “gully washer” to boot! Not to mention two confirmed short lived tornados in Knoxville, that were “tree eaters”, knocking power out to thousands of homes!
Wish we could make it Friday night…you just never know we might get lost and end up there!
    Thanks Tipper,
