All my life we had Oyster stew on zchristmas eve. I didn’t know it was part of my culture until I saw you program. Keep the info coming. I was born in the heart of the mountains, Grundy Virginia. I’m a proud Appalachian and fight hard to hang on to my culture and heritage

Some of the best Appalachian learning you can find is “The Foxfire” Books 1-about 11. After that it is about the current folks. The sure bring back memories for this old (70+) man. I have them and saving them for my Grandson to learn where he came from.
