Keep on the Sunny Side is a popular American song originally written in 1899 by Ada Blenkhorn (1858-1927) with music by J. Howard Entwisle (1866-1903). The song was popularized in a 1928 recording by the Carter Family. A recording of the song with The Whites was featured in the 2000 movie O Brother, Where Art Thou?.. A variant, “Stay on the Sunny Side”, is sometimes sung as a campfire song.

Yes, on the sunny side! That is a perspective from many years of wisdom and I am very sure that where is, is the sunny side!
Such a meaningful quote! I’m not sure I paid much attention to clouds when I was young but now that I’m in my late 70’s I can sure sit on the porch and be amazed by them. That quote should actually be something we all say:) It is a comforting and inspiring statement.
He was trying to make it easier on those who would greive his going, thinking more about them than himself. It is the pattern that the Lord began, the apostles continued and believers have kept going ever since. It is what I want my family to know.
I don’t worry about my Dad or my dear little Mommy I lost this past June 2020 nor do I worry about the loving friend who died last Monday. I’m assured they are on the sunny side but I really miss their physical presence, I know I’ll see them again and many other Christians I’ve known. Can’t say I look forward to the process of getting to the sunny side and if I had my way I’d wait for the rapture.
