Because of the recent hurricanes there are workings going on all over the southeast. I’m amazed and heartened by the help that has been given to western NC, east TN, and other places.

There are many folks who are unable to attend these current workings because of health issues or other obligations, but they have donated much needed items and helped financially. There are still others who are unable to do any of that because of life constraints, but there is one working that doesn’t cost a dime nor exert any physical labor or commitment of travel—it is the working of prayer.

Please continue to pray for all of those suffering from the storms and those who are giving aid.

  3. It is heartwarming to see how so many have come together to help during these trying times. I was taught that helping others is what we are supposed to do. Not only does it bless those in need, but it also blesses us. It’s also a good feeling to know that others are praying for you even if they can’t do anything else. There is so much power in prayer.

  6. Thank you for getting the word out for folks in need. We Made it through Milton with no real damage and many miracles. One being a huge tree limmb from our neighbors tree fell between our houses. my only casualty was an Azalea bush! My heart goes out to the folks in NC and Tennessee. I’m so glad you didn’t get our double whammy of Helene and Milton. I have lived in Florida for 30 years and I have to say Milton was the worst in my area. People here are coming together to help each other as well. Take care and God bless.

  7. I have always tried to help others all of my life but now because of knee and back problems, I can hardly help my own self do a lot of things. If it was not for my son and grandsons helping me, I would be in a world of hurt. When asked how much do I owe you, I would pretend to think about it and then tell them “just pay me no attention if you don’t think that is asking too much.” It was my desire when I retired to work with some of these groups that go around doing volunteer work for others. I grew up in a time when neighbors would pitch in and help one another. Now I can only pray and am not able to give much in the way of money donations. Most of us loose half of our income when our spouse dies, I know of no way to sugar coat this, it is the truth.

  8. Praising God for all the good works so many have done and continue to do to help all that have been affected by the hurricanes. Prayers continue for all the work, supplies, donations, and volunteers that are still needed for all hurricane survivors.

  9. God bless you and thank you to everyone that help me, and commented to me, on my green bean subject, God bless Tipper and her family
