  1. Theys no tellin at the times I’ve heared “that helped a sight” or sometimes “that hope me a sight”.

  2. Have not heard that saying “a sight” in a great long while. Takes me way back down memory lane to childhood. We used it to mean ‘a great deal’ or ‘an extraordinary event or spectacle’. Especially used by kind people in lieu of more colorful but also harsher characterizations of appearances (‘he looked a sight’) or behavior (‘the way they carried on was just a sight’). Somehow the phrase ‘a sight in this world’ comes to mind.

  3. Oh my gosh, was Alex a talent. I don’t think I have every heard anyone with that many talents. Can you imagine his mind and how many directions it went in? H would have made am gifted teacher and spurred others to do the same. I am sure not as many talents as he, but goodness just to hear all that he did is amazing. Looking forward to next Friday already. God bless.

  4. I may not have stated this sentiment with the same exact words, but I have said something similar a lot! I like this phrase. Thank you!!
