I’m sharing another riddle from “Way Down Yonder on Troublesome Creek Appalachian Riddles & Rusties” by James Still.
“Of weavers the best am I,
My own yarn do I supply,
None can match me, did they try,
To wear my cloth is to die.”

The last riddle I shared was from “Way Down Yonder on Troublesome Creek Appalachian Riddles & Rusties” by James Still. A lot of folks guessed things that could have been the answer, but the book said the answer was a hole.
“Whim-wham, shim-sham, jog-along, shift,
There’s a weightless thing you can’t lift.”

I’m guessing a spider.
I’m going to say specifically a black widow. It’s the “kill” part.
I think it is a spider
A spider?
It has to be a spider.

Think that it may be a spider/
I think it’s a black widow spider. First time I’ve had a guess for one of your riddles. I love reading your blog & am a subscriber.

Silkworm?
The answer is a spider.
A Spider :)….. I’m so not good at figuring these…. 🙂 but enjoy attempting.
It’s a spider
This is appears to be a spider with referral to the web.

Riddle 24 is either a Story teller or a spider maybe 🙂
Good morning folks – Riffle #24 Spider? and the one of Shim Sham – A hole? Have a great day – Bob Jones –
Is it a spider?
Must be a spider. But I have never heard that to wear a spider web means one is going to die. I was reminded though of seeing all the webs in the grass covered with dew in the morning.
I’m thinking a spider web…
Spider! I think I really got it this time!
That must be a spider.
