The Pressley Girls play at JCCFS

The Friday night concert was great! The Keith house was full with standing room only and the audience was wonderfully enthusiastic.

A big thank you to all who made it out for the show. And for those of you who didn’t make it I’ll share a peek into the concert-and the comedy The Pressley Girls are becoming known for.

I hope you enjoyed the fiddle tune and the humor-sorry about the shaky video…The Deer Hunter must have been trying to tie his boot : )

  1. Wish I could have been there to see this show. Like everyone who has watched them grow up, I am so proud of them and of you, Tipper and The Deer Hunter. In today’s world, it is not easy, I’m sure to raise girls or boys in our permissive culture.

  2. I am glad to see your twins are relaxed and having fun while entertaining others. I hope their coming success and fame don’t go to their heads. We don’t need another Miley Cyrus or Justin Beiber.

  3. Tipper,
Ain’t it a bittersweet but wonderful moment to see your very
own do so well on stage? We all
have got to see The pressley Girls
as they grew into beautiful young
women. I’m proud of ’em too…Ken

  4. I love those Irish tunes, but can’t pull the name of that one out of my head. Sure would love to make the trip out to the Campbell Folk School some day.

  5. Tipper,
I am always and ever regretting that we couldn’t make it to the concert Friday night. Sounds like you all had a great time, as well as the audience. I couldn’t see them here because of some “green screen” issues with my computer, but could hear it. They did a great job on that fiddle tune! I think the tempo was faster than I have heard them play it before and yes, when you think it might be over, it starts again…Loved the humor too!
So, I suppose the snow didn’t show?
Well now, you better get your bread and milk ’cause I think you all will have snow by Monday and Tuesday. If it doesn’t show up this time, we need to fire the weather person!
    Have a great day,
Thanks Tipper and girls…and Deer Hunter! He wears many hats too, like all his girls, and does a fine job of it as well!

  6. The girls did a fantastic job Friday night and the crowd loved them. Their music is maturing as they are and I love the humor they throw in!

  7. Played in true Appalachian manner! I loved the music, and am glad to hear their humor and how well both were received. As my friend (and cousin!) Eva Nell stated, “They’re moving on!” Thanks to all of you!

  8. Those girls are ‘moving on’ and so cool on the stage! Can’t wait to make it to one of their LIVE performances!
